On September 23, Egypt Valley’s annual meeting took place.
The meeting, which is open to all members, saw presentations from the club’s committees. Here are some of the highlights and key takeaways from that day:
The club is financially healthy and thriving.
Egypt Valley has been paying down debt while still making substantial capital improvements. While members use the club for various reasons and all want different things, Egypt Valley’s various committees—based on the available budget—shape out improvements that will benefit the majority and create aggressive plans to ensure they’re all met.
Membership is at an all-time high.
Egypt Valley boasts an impressive 399 family equivalents—a record number the club hasn’t seen before.
The golf course Master Plan was discussed.
New course equipment was purchased for Jeff Holmes and the rest of the Golf Course Management team, allowing them to keep our courses looking fantastic and prime for play. Members may have also noticed the new cart paths, another new improvement for 2019.
There are some updates coming to the Ladies Locker Room.
The House Committee is moving forward with updates to the Ladies Locker Room, which will allow for more leisure and comfort space, in addition to adding more accessibility for bridal parties.
All of our Committees and Board members are anticipating a truly exciting 2020 at the club and are looking forward to additional growth, capital improvements, and happy members.
