Hear what Dining Service Managers, Chris Maxim and Ryanna Feirick, have to share about their roles.

Chris Maxim

What are you most looking forward to about being part of the EVCC team? 
I’m looking forward to working with a team that is both professional and fun. Numerous employees have been with the company for over a decade and that goes to show that this is a happy and healthy work environment.

What is one thing most members or staff don’t know about you?
I grew up in the Ada and the greater Grand Rapids areas, then moved to Cleveland, Houston and Chicago, and have now come full circle back to Ada. 

What’s your favorite meal at Egypt Valley?
As a fisherman and a fish connoisseur, the Fish and Chips featuring Great Lakes Perch is my favorite. 

What’s the most interesting part of your position?
Getting acquainted with all the new people. Egypt Valley has more than 500 members plus a staff of over 50, so there is always someone new and interesting to meet at any given time.

Ryanna Feirick

What’s a favorite memory that sticks out in your mind throughout the years?
The Halloween parties are always my favorite because the staff gets to be so involved and everyone has so much fun! 

What is one thing most members or staff don’t know about you?
I’m attending school for a Secondary Education English Major with a Psychology Minor to eventually teach high school students.

What’s your favorite meal at Egypt Valley?
The Naan Club with extra crispy fries is always my go-to.

What’s the most interesting part of your position?
Getting to take my knowledge and experience as a server at Egypt Valley and pass it onto newer team members and watch them grow as individuals and as employees.
