Kelsey Shoemaker
Published Date
As Golf Shop Assistant at Egypt Valley, Tyler Hausserman runs the Men’s League, assists and helps run events and Junior Golf, as well as day-to-day operations in the golf shop. Keep reading to get to know him a bit better!
Explain a bit about your Egypt Valley journey and how you came to work at the Club!
I first started working at the club in 2019 shortly after I decided to play golf for GRCC, where I played for two years. My first year, I started out working in the starter shack. It was a great way to meet the membership and get to know everybody!
What’s your favorite part of your job at the Club?
My favorite part about working at the club is being able to play golf with different members and friends I've made through the club! I also really enjoy just interacting with all the members as well as my coworkers!
What’s something surprising/interesting about you that members might not know?
A thing that might surprise people about me is that the only other type of job I've had is working on a dairy farm in Montana.
When you’re not at the Club, what could you be found enjoying?
When I'm not working at the club, I really enjoy practicing and playing golf whether it's here at Egypt Valley or other courses in the area. If I'm not on the golf course, I also really enjoy being outside and active, playing pickleball, as well as just hanging out with friends and family.
